The Best Website Design to Support SEO for Blog Website
AE Design Co had been providing website maintenance support for Emma Johnson's blog website for a while when she approached us to help refresh the design. Emma had been working with another SEO company to improve the traffic to her popular blog website and improving the website's experience was crucial to the success. Prior to the website design project, we had helped her creating landing pages using a drag and drop page builder for WordPress called Beaver Builder. We'd also helped her improve lead conversion to her marketing funnel by integrating the lead generation software, OptinMonster.
Results
A new theme was integrated making it extremely easy for the client to manage all of the content on her own. The design better reflected Emma's brand and made it easier for users to find high impact content. The site speed improved (making both users and Google happy) including a reduction in page requests, total page size and, of course, load time. Several plugins were also removed to eliminate potential code conflicts and improve page speed.
Other improvements included: a fixed header on scroll, infinite scroll to showcase all of her amazing blog posts, large social icons placed in the footer to help improve bounce rates, trust icons on the home page, a sticky sidebar on blog articles to improve conversion and promote top content.
